Corporate Strategy Director

As a Corporate Strategy Director, you are crucial in developing strategies that will deliver our mission and purpose in the long term. You are responsible to ensure that BIG’s activities remain aligned in the short and mid-term. You provide focus, independent counsel and connect the dots across the executive level, the business and operations.


  • You will be actively involved in Corporate Strategy and the development of strategic plans (Value Creation Plans) in co-creation with BU and Divisional Leadership teams.
  • You study the industry trends and market dynamics, identify external evolutions to define new value pools for the group in co-creation with our ecosystem partners.
  • You serve as a center of excellence for market intelligence across B.I.G.
  • You mobilize and lead cross functional teams to bring answers to complex strategic questions.
  • You contribute to the Strategic Committees of the board that take place throughout the year.
  • You perform regular competitive updates for the Group Executive Committee and for the Board.
  • You are intimately involved in strategic M&A projects.
  • Partner with other Corporate departments, Business Units and external advisors as part of the above roles.


Your profile

  • You have 8- 10 years of international experience in strategy/management consulting or within the strategy department of a leading multinational corporation
  • Fluent in English
  • Project management skills: manage cross-functional teams and external parties (consultants, investment banks, Big 4, law firms) under tight deadlines
  • Diplomatic capabilities to navigate through confidential and sensitive matters.
  • You are structured, analytical an have the ability to identify critical take aways in complex situations and turn them into simple overviews for decision making.
  • A candidate who challenges on ‘the why” to ensure validated trade-offs as an outcome in decisions.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, proactive and highly dedicated with a ‘we can do’ mindset
  • You can connect with both operational business teams and top management – both written and orally.
