Key Account Manager - DACH Region

Beaulieu Fibres International is a leading supplier of staple fibres to the nonwoven industry. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to drive business development and strengthen our presence in the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region.


Location: Wielsbeke, Belgium (headquarters) or Germany/Austria remote, with monthly check-ins.


Role Overview: This critical role requires a seasoned professional with at least five years of experience in B2B sales, a strong ability to build and maintain relationships, preferably with an existing in-depth understanding of the nonwoven industry in German-speaking markets, or the capability to rapidly develop such understanding and network. The ideal candidate will be fluent in German and possess excellent communication skills in English. The candidate should demonstrate strong financial analytical skills, while experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce is essential. The role requires a high willingness to travel, up to 50%.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage key accounts in the DACH region, ensuring long-term business relationships.
  • Identify and execute business development initiatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Actively gather market and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
  • Utilize financial acumen to analyze and assess the financial implications of business decisions.
  • Effectively use CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, to manage customer relationships and track performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of products and services.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to build networks and enhance market knowledge.
  • Report regularly to the Sales Director Fibres Industrial on key performance indicators and market trends.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales and key account management.
  • Strong ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills to support business decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools, especially Salesforce.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to develop strategic sales approaches.
  • Demonstrated interest in technical products.
